When you assume your address posture allow your arms and hands to hang down naturally from your shoulders. That's how far from your body they should be. The only exception is with the driver, where we push the hands out an inch to encourage more of an around the body motion. You can see how my arms hang in this posture lesson.
Well, the answer resides in what your ball flight actually is. Clubface relative to target line determines the ball's starting direction, and face relative to path determines direction and degree of curvature.
