Good day everyone. I was hoping to get some opinions on the appropriate iron setup, specifically, should the toe be up, up slightly, flush to the ground? The internet in all its wisdom seems to give some varying responses, so I thought I'd come here to a group of folks where we are all working on the same, at least similar types of golf swing.
Thank you in advance, I love this forum and have found and immense amount of help coming here, along of course with the classes.
Doug
Slightly toe up is as I understand it. The dynamics of the swing and proper release action should then result in the sole of the club being flush with the ground at impact.
We haven’t heard from our master club fitter @Ryen in a while, but if he sees this perhaps he can chime in.
@Doug I would say the toe will be up slightly for normal shot and flush to the ground for chipping
Toe up works best for me.
