Hi community,
I have been experimenting lately with fade shots having satisfactory results so far (as in some cuts are actually happening). How to handle weight distribution through the shot confuses me a bit though. As Tom indicates in his fade shot shaping video, weight is more felt on the trail leg at address, but how should it be handled/felt from there? Transferred progressively to the lead leg through the backswing or maintained on the back until the downswing happens (considering everything else is ok at address and during the execution of BS & DS).
Also from Tom's fade video, his trail leg does not seem to straighten as much as when he executes his standard stock shot. Wondering if that has to do with anything of the above.
Your experiences and comments are really appreciated!
Thanks in advance, Fabio.
May i suggest another possibility for shaping shots?
E.G. target is the flag in the middle of the green.
Clubface always correct to target!
For Fade: stance, shoulders and swing towards left green side or 1/2/3° to the left of the green/targetline.
For Draw: stance, shoulders and swing towards right green side or 1/2/3° to right of the green/targetline.
The stronger the shape, the more angle between targetline and stance/swingline.
Cheers
