I played 9 holes for the first time in about a month. I had put away all the toys to just take a break before starting my winter training.
The beautiful part about stack n tilt, once you are all in the swing just gets so simple. Literally, weight forward. Hands in...and release. if the ball contact isn't solid, I didn't get far enough forward.
I had one birdie and one bogey. Even par for 9.
How are you kids doing this winter?
Hello...new to this forum, just recently subscribed. We've been fortunate with our mild winter weather so far here in eastern PA (Allentown) having played 14 times in January. Looking to break our February streak starting tomorrow.
Well it's been freezing out here at PGA West. Daytime temps have been dipping down into the 60's some days, and it rained twice since December! The AMEX tourney was great. Oh, maybe I should stop there.
Yep @Russell Hogue, PhD - Once you get it down it really is that simple!
Nice playing and thanks for the post!!
Glad to hear it @Russell Hogue, PhD .
I'm up today in Cheyne WY, a little better then down in Westminster, Co which is getting 5 to 10 inches today. But will be heading out shortly into that mess. Up here getting some too.
Definitely having withdrawals but will attempt indoor garange this next Wednesday.
Enjoy all that can!!!!!
Blessings!!!!!
hey @Russell Hogue, PhD . good weather to get out yesterday. Working in the basement with my BLP. Video discovered a few things I need to work on. My backswing felt good, video revealed the dreaded rolling of the hands, and on the downswing coming out of my posture a bit and flipping. So....I'll be doing some drills concentrating on those two things for now. Feel vs. Real is so real ;)
Middle of summer here, not much time for golf due to work etc,am having moderate success with s&t .
Still haunted by the ghosts of golf swing past😂⛳️
