I've been studying and using this method since I found Tom last winter. I've also taken a video lesson which I highly recommend. My game has absolutely improved but I've got two (at least) flaws I can't seem to shake. About midway through the back swing when my lead shoulder is about at my chin I start lifting my head up slightly as I get to the top. I don't feel it when I do it so it's been tough to shake. Also, I have a tendency to start the downswing with my arms causing a slightly over the top motion. Any drill suggestions to cure my ills?

I look forward to reviewing it, @BG!
Thanks Tom. Video coming your way actually. I agree with the transition also which I struggle with. Old demons die hard. I'm playing pretty good golf currently using this method but struggling with consistency. Curing this flaw will surely help with that.
@BG - It would serve you very well to take some video. From the face-on view make sure that you are not seeing any weight transfer into your trail side. From the DTL perspective check to see if your shoulder turn is leveling out. These two conditions are closely related to each other and are a common regression caused by those stubborn old shift & lift swing demons. This can also lead to transition issues at the top.
If you'd like you can post your videos in the Forum's Video Analysis Room and solicit feedback from some of your fellow - and very knowledgeable - online school members.
If you're lifting your head, this may mean you are not fully extending your spine.
You may want to try lifting your chin slightly so that you feel you'll have enough room for your shoulder turn so that you subconsciously don't feel the need to lift your head.
Another tip that DJ does is he turns his head slightly away from the target at address to help him complete his turn.
A thought for starting the downswing is to push into the ground with your lead leg which will start a chain reaction of the correct movements automatically.
Just some tips that may be of help but not all work for everyone.
