I have really been struggling with what to do as I start my backswing. In watching lesson video's it seems your knee should flex towards your left toes. But in other video's it seems your hip should slide forward so tail bone points at your target. Also when I am turning on my backswing with right leg getting straight I feel like I am bent to far over on my left side. I struggle with my down swing at this point because it seems impossible to rotate though the forward swing. I tend to pull the ball more but sometimes I push the ball also. I really struggle with the rotation of my of my hands in the backswing also. I do understand that you should keep your clubface facing the ball but at some point your right arm folds. I feel like I'm not doing this correctly. I have been on this site for a while and when I started it seems I could do nothing wrong. Now that I have been working on getting better it seems I can do nothing right. I have read a lot of the other post and went back though the 2.8 section plus the other lessons that were recommended but I still really struggle when I play a round. To top it off I go to Arizona next week for our annual golf trip with my Dad and brother. All I want to do is kick there butts but it is difficult when they are both retired and play a lot. It seems every year we get together I struggle so I know it is probably a mental thing also. Any help would be appreciated since I will be trying to work on this this week before I go to Arizona. Thanks in advance and thank you Tom for teaching an awesome way to play golf.

Hi Craig,
Your comment about getting too far over the front side during the backswing is an indication that you are not extending enough. Have a look at this lesson. Proper extension will unlock your swing, whereas insufficient extension will have you fighting your body and pondering the meaning of life.
Beyond this, since you are up against a hard deadline I agree with @Nocona Colt Abernathy that a V1 Analysis would be in order ASAP so you'll have enough time to work through the personalized drills I will give you in advance of your butt-kicking trip!
Tom
@Craig C - If it is any consolation, one of my swing feels is feeling my upper torso bending to the target, but that's because I don't extend enough sometimes. Remember, feel vs real.
Your issue sounds more like you are tilting too much. The right leg straightening helps you to turn and sends the club up on the proper path. If your hands roll, I would think that means you have tilted with turning and extending. Which, if you don't turn back, its kind of hard to turn through.
I would suggest a V1 analysis with @Tom Saguto before your trip or post a video in the video analysis room and someone might offer some help.
