Generally, I try to pass my hands in front trail leg in the backswing to give me the correct shoulder tilt in the backswing between all the different lengths of clubs. Also, thinking about the shaft plain of the club I'm holding helps some, but I still tend to get my shoulders way to tilted with my longer clubs unless I'm focusing hard on it.
Is there an easier way to help the length of the club determine the amount of my tilt? I'm having a hard time getting a feel for it
Also, I shouldn't actually be pointing my should at the ball... correct? Just feeling like I am
Thanks Tom! I have heard that before and could be just what the doctor ordered. For some reason the video says it is private when I click the link, but i get the idea
@Kyle S. - The simplest way I know of to accomplish this is Arnold Palmer's favorite tip: Point your lead shoulder at the ball. The shaft length of the club determines how far the ball is from you, so when you point your shoulder at the ball in the backswing the club will naturally work more around the body as you get to the longer clubs.
I hope that visual helps you!
