Its funny because as i started focusing on keeping the wedge and keeping my arms straight, i started losing my tilt. I need to make sure i have checkpoints for myself to make sure i keep all the movements so i can achieve perfect practice. Perfect practice makes perfect.
One of the many great things about this swing is that you can achieve solid ball striking even at the most basic levels. This is why I oftentimes will suggest that students park themselves on Chapter 2 of the Golf Swing Simplified course for an extended period of time after locking down Chapter 1's foundational elements. Chapter 2 reinforces the body motions and the weight-forward component, and it culminates with a couple of great drills in lessons 2.8 and 2.9. Work yourself sequentially and gradually through the chapter, and then commit yourself to these drills. Learn them. Practice them. Master them. (You can also play golf on the using the final iterations of these drills, as they'll provide plenty of distance to get around the course.) Once you've got this chapter down, you will be well prepared to move forward in the curriculum and well on your way towards taking ownership of YOUR swing!
as i have been working on all of this ive noticed my tilt has leveled out and i need to make sure im getting that shoulder to the ground. Drills for keeping the head in the circle?
@jthibodeau1991 Well, S&T co-founder "feels" like he is pushing his lead shoulder into the ground, and PGA Tour pro Charlie Wi says he "feels" like the Leaning Tower of Pisa (see S&T book excerpt below), so I would say yes - AS LONG AS you don't allow your upper torso and your head (and therefore, your swing center) to shift towards the target.
Indeed it does, @jthibodeau1991.
Keep up the great work!

It's all there in Chapter 2, @jthibodeau1991.

Tailbone to Target and 90%Weight Forward/Arms Straight.
It's helpful to have Pink Floyd's "The Wall" playing in the background....😎
