Does anyone have an issue with the 4i on the Range or the Course? I hit 30 balls today on the Range and shots were either faded or drawn. I had plenty of ball/divot action and choked down on my club for more stability.
@Patrick Anlauf - It's important to know why the ball is behaving a particular way in order to reverse engineer the cause. The ball is simply responding to the flight plan assigned to it by the clubface at impact. Clubface relative to target line dictates the ball's starting line and face relative to path determines direction and degree of curvature.
Assuming your downswing is working properly and approaching the ball consistently from the inside - which you can learn from recording your swing - then it's a good idea to educate yourself in ball flight rules and the Shot Shaping Grid, which you'll find in this section of the school. Although this can be considered an advance level course for golfers who have mastered the swing and wish to hone their skills in moving the ball in different directions, I also believe it's necessary for all to have a basic understanding of the reasons why a shot went a particular way and how minor adjustments in setup and ball position can influence it.
Thank you, Tom.
