I have been watching your videos and using the stack and tilt swing and moving my weight on to the left foot. My game has improved. However, I just purchased a swing path mat. I noticed that my swing is bottoming out behind the ball. Can you suggest any adjustments at set-up or in the swing itself to make the clubhead bottom out in front of the ball to get that crispy contact that you describe?

Thank you so much. I will try this drill.
@stcloninger - What @danny said in his reply is spot on.
If you wish to try to work through this on your own - and assuming you did start from the beginning and work sequentially through the foundational elements of the setup and the basic swing motions - then this 90% Weight Forward/Arms Straight Drill will move that contact point forward. It's not an easy drill, but it is very effective, so be sure to spend sufficient time to properly learn, execute, and master it. You'll know you're doing it properly when impact is consistently crispy, divots are occurring past the ball, and ball flight is a repeatable little push-draw.
@stcloninger this is talked about right from the beginning of the course. You should go through the course right from the very beginning. By following along with the drills, in order of sequence, and filming your swing, you should be able to identify the culprit. Other than that, you'll need to do a V1 analysis.
You could always post your swing here if you want the group to analyze it. We love doing that but, you'll only be getting what you paid for! LOL
Actually, I think we're able to pick up on things in other people's swing easier than our own!
