I am a newer member here and relatively new to the swing itself. I've always been a traditional swing guy, but over the winter without really knowing the principles found myself having amazing success using a swing very similar to what Tom teaches. The contact was magical and the feeling was intoxicating. However, after a few great rounds to start the spring I developed the dreaded "S" (has happened several times over the past few years). Demoralized and frustrated I tried to figure it out on my own, but have not had any success. I took about a month off from playing and started back slowly, but the problem is still there. If I take it nice and slow and hit about 50% I am okay, but if I ramp up the speed and try to get my normal distances it can get nasty. I feel as though I am getting my upper body out over my lower and towards the target, but I haven't seen that on video. One of my playing partners commented that it looked like my club was stuck behind me on a particularly bad swing. I feel like I can't sync up my upper and lower body well and when I try to generate power I default to my upper too much. Needless to say I can't diagnose it. I plan to pay special attention to my hands because it may be that I am rolling them in the back swing, but I was hoping for some feedback.
Thanks in advance.
