Hello Again,
Ok, I think I'm progressing on to using the ground more. At least it feels that way. According to the mevo, I've carried my 5 wood in the upper 190s and lower 200s several times. I feel like I'm almost jumping thru impact.
It's created some crazy strikes but, also some amazing ones. However, I'm not keeping my feet planted. The lead foot is rotating on the balls of my foot and, the heel ends up pointing back away from the target, not rolling over in place. My trail foot is still coming up to almost 90 degrees. Is this indicative of something I'm doing or not doing?
I think it's fantastic that y'all are acclimating yourselves with that tremendous power source!!
Proper use of the ground tends to occur on its own as we build in the correct motions of the swing. For this reason I have not added any content specific to this, as thinking of the ground too early in the sequence can knock our swings out of whack. However, one good drill to help you feel it is the Tailbone2Target ("holy grail") from the Indoor Training Program.
Have fun getting acquainted with your newfound friend: mother earth!!
Tom
