My divots are right where I am aiming And my ball is slicing a ton. I am trying to work more on “the grid” where the club face is slightly open and swinging in to out. About 2-3 balls back. So I’m wondering if I’m coming way over there top or is it because I have the face slightly open. Since doing “the grid” I’ve been slicing it. I know I’m doing something something wrong. Just not sure. Was hitting a draw or hook before the grid

Will try and get a recording later at the range. My contact is good. Some bad shots here and there, still learnings the swing.
I don’t doubt the grid at all. I’m doing something wrong here. The ball starts straight or right of target, then slices right. Not a single pull slice was hit yesterday, divots are usually pretty straight to target. I’m thinking it’s downswing or maybe too much tilt?
@mike9ferrucci - The Grid does not lie, and if you have it set up properly in terms of ball position and face angle it will reveal path issues. If the face is open to the target line and closed to a proper in-to-out path, the result will be a push-draw.
Is the ball's starting direction to the push or pull side of the target?
Feel free to post your swing videos to the Video Analysis Room if you'd like to get some feedback on it from your fellow members.
