Right now my club face is coming in very NHRA wide open. My ball goes so right in could land on the next fairway. I am trying to come though with my arms the same as they were at setup, but obviously Im not.
What is a good drill to square the clubface?
Well my son has been using my laptop to play games. Might have to take that back
Thanks Tom. I just ordered a tripod for my camera since my kids won’t take a video for me.
@Brandon Wall - I would definitely look at the possibility suggested by @Bill Mo, and if that is the case have a look at last week's YT episode. There is also content specific to this in the Takeaway section of Fixing Common Swing Problems. If, on the other hand, the cause is a path that is too shallow coming into impact, then you may wish to check out Problem #2 in the Downswing section of the same.
Having said that....you should always first default to checking your setup before considering any kind of swing intervention. We all fall into the trap of getting too comfortable, and we then begin to take our grip, stance, posture, alignment, ball position, etc. for granted, but without proper attention these things do tend to creep on us over time. 90% of the result is already determined before we even take the club back, yet I've seen so many folks make a mess out of an already sound swing because they overlooked or did not consider the foundational elements of the setup. For example, in the case of straight pushes as you described, it may be as simple as ball position that is too far back in the stance.
As always video does not lie, so be sure to have a look at your swing from both angles in order refine your list f possible causes.
Id look @ take away drill. U may be rolling ur hands
