What will produce more power, setting up 65-35 to 70-30 and not having to use the lateral hip movement, or setting up 55-45 to 60-40 and starting the downswing with the lateral hip bump? I set up 70-30 to take the lateral movement out of the swing, but my body still wants to start the downswing with a little rotation. Ive worked with the skateboard drill, but are there some other feels to help this?

Power...OK. But on the course I'm not looking for power with irons, I'm looking for accuracy. While some guys are hitting a PW 135 to a pin, I'm doing one of Tom's drills using an 8 iron punch shot. I understand power for driver, but for me, I like a very controlled "drill shot" to greens. I do not roll-release the wrists and the shots are SO much easier. But that could just be me...LOL.
