I've been struggling a bit lately, especially with driver. My stock shot with every other club, even fairway woods, is a baby draw, and I used to be able to do it with driver too. But lately, I've been fighting with the driver. If I try to force the draw by holding the flying wedge longer, or by slight bowing the left wrist, I can draw it, but often times, too much.
When I just take my normal swing and just think about having less active hands like I do with all the other clubs, my driver tends to fall to the right. Not a slice, more of a push fade. And I could live with that, it's just hard to aim visually when I so used to drawing every shot.
Maybe it's due to the tee being higher or the ball position a little farther forward on the grid?
Maybe I should just embrace it and play the fade only with the big dog? Thoughts?
