I notice you use club grips that are larger than standard size. What size grips do you use and would you recommend them for your students? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the size grips you are using? Thanks.
For me as of 5 years ago went to a larger grip. I use the Golf Pride Tour Wrap midsize jumbo's. I feel more connected and found I am not squeezing the club like I once did years ago( by this meaning choking the club). I was a squeezer also when I was a bowler and something I had to overcome. No surprise would show up in golf.
I’m using JumboMax Ultralite grips - the same model that DeChambeau plays. I personally love the feel as well as how they help to keep my hands quiet through the zone. They’re not necessarily for everyone – and my fingers are a bit longer than average - so I routinely tell folks to "try before you buy."
