Hi Tom
I've just finished an interesting week, but first a little bit of background. I'm 67 and been playing golf since I was sixteen. For the last 10 years my handicap has been going up and up to such a degee that by the time the new handicap system started in November my handicap was 24.2.(my lowest handicap was 7, about 35 years ago).Fortunately I came across your videos at the end of October 2020 just as the new system was starting.I could relate to your ideas and signed up and felt that I was on the road to fun again and was convinced that a great round was just aroud the corner,I've felt like that for nearly 6 months, and kept practicing, confident it would happen. Right, so, what happened in the last week? On Satuday 5th June I played in the Medal and shot 110, my worst ever gross score.Battered, but still confident in all I had done with your guidance, on Saturday 12thJune I entered one of our clubs individual Major Cup competitions(The Drabble Cup, open to all members). Tom, I shot 89 (including an nervous 8 up the par 4 last) and won the Cup by 1 shot, net 63.Only a 21 shot difference in 7 days. How pleased am I? I haven't stopped smiling yet. Tom, I can't thank you enough, I can't wait for next Saturday, another Major Cup, feeling good.
regards and mega thanks.
Mike James aka Jamo
ps:I've been cut 3 shots, but I don't care, life is great. Thanks again.

Jamo!!! Great story!!! Congratulations!! Holy crap! That's truly amazing!! It gives me more hope that it really can just come together one day!
Can you elaborate more on your mental condition through this round? What were your swing thoughts and how stayed in the groove to not get distracted by BS?
I'm excited for you!!!
