Well said ! I agree 100% . strive for that swing perfection and buttery crispy shots ;) . Im just so damn hard on myself! Espcially after a bad round like today..Yikes ! Just keep grinding I guess lol.
@rallak4 - If you are fairly certain that steepness is playing a role in striking the ball towards the heel side, please have a look at this diagnostic video for over-the-top downswings from the Fixing Common Swing Problems section. If this appears to be the issue, then there are several lessons and drills immediately following it that are related to what I refer to as Downswing Problem #1.
And yes - keep filming your swing as it's so important to be able to distinguish between what you are feeling and what is really happening!
I'm glad to learn of your improvements so far with your ball striking. Keep up the great work and have fun out there!!
Im struggling with the same thing. What works for me is more weight on my heels. I counter the weight from pulling forward. Like a hammer throw. Its weird for me. some days im flushing everything center of club and then all of the sudden Im hitting everything on the heel and even shanks. Its a tough sport for me.
@desmondmoss I will try that and see what happens. I know also im a touch steep at the top of my swing, working on shallowing the club better.especially after Toms video today. Recording myself is bitter sweet , I love seeing what I need fixed but also its frustrating knowing whats wrong and needing that patience to get it corrected ;)
