Tom Saguto utilizes Ben Hogan's swing sequence in many of his lessons for us. I just happened to come across this gem. Tom, how hard would it be for you to create a pic, like this, of YOUR swing sequence? I would find it very beneficial. The slow mo swings are great but seeing a stop motion detail may just enhance it. Just a thought. I look at these all of the time from many different pro players. Everyone, feel free to discuss. This is like looking at a treasure map.
In Sagutogolf lessons, there are 2 main key points driving the constant golf swing Tom emphasizes over and over again. TILT and straight arms...Hogan's arms never break down in the swing. Shoulder tilt right at the ball. (Relationship with the ball). I noticed other parts of the swing...Look at the lead leg. The lead knee even has a relationship with the ball as his knee points at the ball, "You, ball, are going there!" Tom discusses the knees and how it tells you about your golf swing in one of his lessons. The moment of release almost looks like Ben is pointing his club at the target just before the follow through. It even looks as if Ben is driving his body forward into the ground with such massive force creating that torque as he says, "See ya!" to the ball while sending the ball with the Wrath of God. I could go on. What do you all see?
Thank you for sharing . Very instructive. Where did you find this picture….good teaching tool.
