I am on a golf break right now because the Central Valley, CA, heat index is 104 to 107 for 5 days. Have mercy. Meantime, i am reading two books on the Short Game. It seems like every Golf Instructor has a different mechanical theory on ball position; arm placement; bowing of wrists; and torso rotation; and, weight distribution. I will take what works and purge out the undoubles. The books I am reading are "The Art of the Short Game by Stan Utley and Ben Hogan's Short Game Simplified by Ted Hunt. The latter is more technical, so I started with Utley first - He recommends only using 1 club for Short Game - the 56-degree Wedge. Master it and Nirvana happens, LOL. Of course, they all have these hidden secrets now revealed in their books. It is fun reading the ideas though.
