For Tom or a fellow follower: For an golfer I see in one of Tom's driver videos that he advises a slight left hip bump in the setup. In this case, should the weight be more on the left side for the back swing and increasingly thoughout the swing? And still tilt, with the left shoulder down and under? It seems odd or contradictory to do all this. Would like to have thoughts and advice on this and use of the driver in general with the S&T method. Thanks.

@rmalaspina yes, the key to S&T is “Forward, Forward, Forward”. Because we set up with the ball further forward with the Driver, we must preset the hip bump to ensure we stay forward and don’t sway away from the target.
I recently had an “Aha” moment with the driver. With the proper weight forward set up, I can swing away with the driver without worrying about it going left (hooking). I was having difficulty with the over hook and had got into the bad habit of holding off the release. That brought on a lot of inconsistency with start line and flight path. I had a two way miss and loss of confidence on the tee.
I reviewed the Driver lessons and realized I was not presetting the hip forward. I corrected that and the result was a push or push fade due to my bad habit of holding the release. Once I let myself swing away I started piping it straight down the fairway.
Trust the setup and swing away.
@rmalaspina - Yes, an inch or so targetward hip bump at address while keeping your upper torso in place will preset your forward weight. We're shooting for around 55% with the short and mid irons, and around 60% with the longer clubs. Here is a KFC Club video on irons vs. driver. Also, if you haven't already done so have a look at this driver mini course.
