So I went the range and recorded some swings yesterday and played golf today... and it really clicked.. just have not gotten it down to subconsciously doing yet... Im decent at weight forward I am pretty good at contact ball then turf.. alot better than I was... but @Tom Saguto always talks about the relationship to the golf ball... and I would focus on it at set up and back swing... but when I was recording my self, it was a bad swing.. it was because on the down swing I would treat the ball like the red headed step child... and end the relationship... so I had to catch myself.. couple bad strikes.. I know it is my trail shoulder... That eventually became my only swing thought of the day today... and when I Kept it in my mind... My strikes where better... I just have to make sure I keep my bend during my down swing and tilt my right should down at the golf ball instead of standing up and it is more just a turn with out a tilt.... It really helped... birdied 2 holes in a row.. both where 20 foot plus birdies... Tiger wood fist pumps putting my shoulder out of socket lol... Just a great learning experience.. working with 2.8 still for a little longer but then Im moving to chapter 3.. Keep the relationship with your left and right shoulder with the golf ball.. both mom and Dad.. (left and right shoulder) need to give the golf ball love
BTW I did this on one of my birdie holes a par 5 and like 75 in... and I must have the shaft leaned forward way to much cause it only went like 15 feet in the air.. With my 56.. but it didnt feel thin.. and I was like.. oh no its going hit and go way off... NOPE.. that sucker took one hop and stopped faster than a mini cooper hitting a brick wall... and I was oh... that must have had 20k back spin.. cause that came out like it was super then and shot off like a missle... These people that played with me said GREAT SHOT... and I was yeah.. that is my low spinner... Like I meant to do that lol
Attitude is huge @ryen91. And practice, besides getting out and to outdoor range. I swing at my indoor range into the net at least 4 day a week 1/2 to 1 hour. Video once a week. About muscle memory for me indoors and let me tell you, the more you practice the more the KFC's will come and you will feel it! I know right away at home if it's KFC or not . And now the KFC's are more than the not's!
Keep going !!!!!
Definitely on right path!
