So what feels like forever, really only 25 days finally getting back on the course tomorrow!🏌️♂️🕺
Hit the indoor range today to check shoulders, everything seems like (in the words of mission control) GO! (for early space enthusiast, Mercury, Gemini & Apollo)
Got lose with some indoor sponge balls & 2.8 drills and moved to my regular Titleist balls. Felt great KFC contact.
Going to be early as usual and hit the range and chipping and putting surfaces before tee. Not playing home course but fine challenging track for sure.
Question @Tom Saguto
Having new clubs and now driver been able to see contact spots on club face very well.
All clubs have consistent contacts spots The driver has been most centered for amateur status. I am referring to the research done on contact area on club face as it pertains to handicap and how it tightens as handicap goes down.
My irons all of the them and fairway woods are on the solid portions of the face but just a little towards the toe but on the "meat" of the face.
I attempted to move a bit closer but not a noticeable difference. It is consistent and repeatable. Am I wrong for saying to myself I am making KFC contact and have improved 5 points in handicap this year. Bigger fish to fry!
Happy Fall Fellow Golfers
I'm out in Palm Springs. Fall is 82F. Sorry! LOL.
