To everyone, change is a hard thing in everything for everyone everywhere! But without it we would still be hacking around the golf course! Isn't everyone here because "life is too short to play bad golf"? We couldn't fix that without changing what we been doing. Oh there's that terrible word again!
Maybe I attack this differently, I add what I need and don't worry about progressing through the course (I know that sounds crazy)! I just keep the 2:8 in my warmups. And other layers recently the shallowing the downswing and now his latest video and reminder which I did years ago keeping it slower and having that reversal point in the swing.
When those features are ingrained then we will see what we need to go further. That is what works for me. To go through the whole thing is nice. But what I like the most about this online school, site & Tom is if you are paying attention it is not one size fits all. We have to make it our own, to own individual "personalities" or swings. Yes there are foundational pieces and things to build on. But if it was you have to do it exactly like this and this and this, then this school would not stick out from the rest of the golf world. Not saying there are not good other teachers out there.
But no robots here.
My take on this place and saying EMBRACE CHANGE! it's what brought you here to begin with.
A progress bar feature is in the works. Right now there is a "bookmarks" button. When you click to bookmark a section that acts as your "favorites".
Your favorite videos will be saved in your "bookmarks" bar where you see - Library - Bookmarks - Community near the top of the library page.
I know there's benefits to seeing where you're at "progress wise" in the course. My thoughts are that you never truly "complete the course". This program is not designed as a "one and done "class. It's designed as a "continuous improvement course".
I've also had students tell me the opposite - that they'd like "un-complete their progress" so that they can go through the program again. Some have said they don't want a progress bar...it's about 50/50. There is a workaround here.
This means that you should revisit sections you've already seen previously. For example Stage 3 consists of drills for every part of the golf swing. You shouldn't work on all those drills at one time. You should use it as a guide to fix issues or improve your swing as needed.
In the grand scheme of things, know that I'm working to make this the best learning experience possible for you and that many things have been considered in this new update. While it seems like everything happened so fast, this update has been in the works since 2021 - it's taken 2 years to bring it to life.
Please don't hesitate to give me feedback. Please keep it constructive though. I can't do much when someone says "their frustrated" or "panicking" over a new change. That leaves me confused.
I can do more with "Hey Tom, I really liked that progress bar. Are you bringing it back?" or "Have you thought about adding a community section?"
So, please enjoy the new program. Take the time to let it grow on you. It's like slow-cooked BBQ. Low heat, slow down and enjoy the ride.
Who knows, maybe you'll like the new program even better than the old one?!
Each and every time I have a problem at the course or the range. I go back. If there was award for the guy that had watched the set up and grip videos the most, I would win hands down. but keep this to yourself. I don’t want others to know I’m a slow learner. 😬
Agree it felt a little awkward at first but now I think the new site is great. I had only just started so I was only a couple of weeks in, I went right back to the beginning , which did me a world of good tbh.
A tremendous amount of my time and effort went into planning, creating and bringing to fruition this dramatically upgraded platform along with the new, highly detailed instruction content - all of which is specifically designed to deliver an enhanced, intuitive, and even more enjoyable learning experience for SagutoGolf members in an environment fully capable of accommodating and supporting our future growth and expansion. I'm very glad to know that you are enjoying it!
Tom, love the new instruction but I agree with others that losing the ability to track progress is cumbersome and takes away from the user experience. Any chance the feature can be added?
Tom - appreciate the message. So there's no longer anything that shows me what I've completed? I guess I'll just fumble around with it until I've found where I was before. I love your instruction and am making progress, but this is taking a bunch of time to re-orient, just because the 'new and improved' (huge eyeroll here) site doesn't take into account what was already completed. You are great. This is just annoying.
I don't know if this will help but this is what I am doing. As I progress with the videos I re-watch everyone twice before moving on and grab screen shots at the critical pics and document what I want to remember and put a drill sheet below each lesson plan to let me know what I want to or have done already at the practice range. I print this out and call it my home work. This works for me.
Hi, I'm guessing you haven't received the multiple email notifications I sent over the past month regarding the site upgrading to a new platform and how to access it?
The new site just launched last week and contains 13 hours of new footage and an overall improved learning environment + experience. Along with this is an entirely updated golf swing program that will help you improve even faster.
I want to help you as best I can. When you say "you can't access my teaching" what do you mean?
To me it sounds like you can log in but you aren't seeing my content. Be assured that all my old content from the Teachable site and the new content are available to you in this school. There's a small learning curve when adjusting to anything new. I think you'll be able to locate the videos you enjoyed previously - as well as delve into the new content with ease.
If you can't find a video, let me know and I'll help. I know it's frustrating when things change. Ultimately, this change is for the best and what I know to help you and other members play even better golf.
If you can't see my content or are having technical issues, please contact my support team at support@noodle.shop . They will get you access and make sure you can see all the videos. Please contact them - they are my team and here to help you.
Also, I just made videos showing you how to navigate this new expeience. Check them out by clicking here
In any case, I want you to have a good experience here on my SagutoGolf website. I continuously improve my program to help make the learning experience as best as I can for you - based on the feedback of you and thousands of other SagutoGolf members.
Hey There Fearless Leader! No this is not Boris or Natasha! A little fun to break it up here if you know the reference(I'm betting you do).

Tom: losing the ability to track progress in each category is disappointing, Can you transfer and build that into your new site?
