@welsh189 - I say "absolutely!" Having properly sized grips is critically important as they are our only connection to the object that is going to deliver us blissful joy or deep anguish, yet it is perhaps also the most overlooked equipment fitting component in golf.
Beyond that, think about it - who came up with the "standard" grip size, anyway? How small were their hands, and how many golfers over the years have not come close to enjoying their full potential as a result of trying to hold a toothpick in their mitts?? Just sayin'.....
So yes - I believe that golfers should experiment different size and style grips to determine what feels and performs best for them.
