Well Golfers & Golfettes,
At this season of life (hit the big 65 yesterday, not a chance of shooting my age).😛 And usually don't make a fuss of the day. But was reminded how blessed I am by the number of text and phone calls that came in, unbelievable. Finished the day with awesome dinner at Keg Steakhouse in Golden Colorado with a lady acquaintance.
Started the day with 18 holes on a course which is literally 4 minutes from my house and awesome course and layout and not the easiest track, with undulating very quick greens. Still waiting on 2 crossover iron, so went out 1 club short. Just driver and no woods and 3 iron crossover and usual other sticks. Loving my plan and can't wait for 2 iron to get here, just hope it comes before 1st snow!
Carded a 81with 28 putts, 9 pars, 1 birdie and 2 doubles. Get rid of those doubles once again break 80! Really only 3 bad shots on the day and that was of course a concentration issue. If I do say so myself, outstanding day on a course haven't played in over 6 years. Driver was on target with just 2 missed fairways, and as putting shows was lights out(no 3 putts), chipping also put me in position to save pars. But the biggest smile on my face was from the fairway and approach shots. Directional was mostly good but crispy KFC the most all year! was putting for birdie 4 times on the day(dropped 1). Last 4 holes of the day was on in regulation 3 out of the 4!
Side note had this gift of carrot cake from golf buddies after round. But unlike the cake topper I didn't have to blow on any balls to get them in the hole!
Once again thanks for listening.
Blessings to All
Happy Birthday and Congratulations on an awesome round, @Steven!!!
I would absolutely send you a virtual SG Golden Ball award, but I’m out of town and don’t have access to my “trophy case”, so you’ll just have to know that you most definitely earned one!!!
Keep up the great work, and look out 70’s because here you come!...💪🏻💪🏻
