@Austen Burkholder - Are you getting tired of hitting push-draws already?...😂
Ball flight rules – aka shot shaping - are a function of clubface as it relates to path and target line. Clubface relative to target line dictates the ball's starting line, and face relative to path determines direction and degree of curvature. The Appendix section of the Golf Swing Simplified course has some good information on this. Lesson A1 is a PDF file title “Tom’s Golf Survival Guide”. You can access it HERE. There is plenty of information specific to ball flight control and shot shapes beginning on page 15 of this guide. Additionally, the lesson videos B1 and B2 Parts I & II which immediately follow A1 provide much more detail on ball flight. As you take ownership of this swing your downswing path will properly be approaching the swing’s low point on an inside track, and at this point you will then be on the correct path to take advantage of the preferred S&T “grid” to shape your shots. In THIS YouTube channel video from my week at the S&T Academy, a fellow teaching pro demonstrates use of the grid to modify ball flight. At approximately the 1:00 mark he is making two simple adjustments - ball forward and handle back - to hit a fade.
Alternatively, there is THIS channel video on how to adjust your alignment to bust a power-fade using the push-draw setup.
