No, not clickbait, but wanted to tell you that since I started focusing on folding the trail arm tight at the top of the backswing (like I am trying to crush a grape), I have no doubt added 20 yards or more to my drives.
From the top I then try to hold this position at the start of the downswing, which begins by trying to extract the outside of my trail foot from the ground and drive it toward the target while my foot is standing in a glob of Super/Gorrilla Glue that has almost dried.
I know almost everyone uses this technique and feel, but just wanted to share it with those who have not heard of it.
Thanks for reading.
Feel free to respond and tell me your thoughts or tell me to shut up if my posts are getting tiresome. I am open to constructive criticism.
I'll never issue a gag order to excitement and enthusiasm for improvement...or for 20 more yards. Crush a grape; crush a drive.
