I've been working on eliminating my over the top drill. Using an alignment stick about 45 degrees behind me, I was practicing getting under the stick on both the takeaway and downswing. It was working pretty well until I made a downswing where the shaft must have hit the the very top of the alignment stick perfectly flush. I'm not sure if I could do it again if I tried, but here was the result:
Needless to say, it will teach you to get the club coming back on the right plane.
