Played yesterday and shot an 81 which is an improvement after using the Saguto method. I could have easily had a 79 as I missed two short putts from babying the putt. I discovered something in the last two holes that I am curious about. If I line the club up at address with the ball closer to the toe I am making better contact with woods and irons. I’m thinking that is from have a less steep swing into the ball from before. Does that make sense to anyone or was it one of those things that worked yesterday and may never work again?

Nice playing, @g.harrison125!! My thoughts with regard to your question:
1) Are you certain that you were not previously addressing the ball towards the heel, and what looks like toe-side to you might actually be more centered? The reason I ask this is that I oftentimes encounter golfers on the lesson tee who unknowingly address the ball closer to the hosel than they think, as our side-on view from above tends to skew our perspective of the actual location of the ball relative to the clubface. Using video or having a friend take a look will confirm this for you.
2) If your are truly addressing the ball more towards the toe and getting desirable results, then perhaps this is a temporary adjustment that will help you to ingrain a better downswing path.
3) As with anything, let the quality of your ball striking and your shot shape be your guide. For example, if #2 is indeed the case, then as your path improves you may begin to experience more toe hits. This will tell you that perhaps it's time to center the ball on the face at address.
