Go to the range and hit well. Get on the course and become a professional chunker. Here is what I think.
#1 it took nearly 5 hours as a single player to play 18. I was behind 4 women who were behind a threesome that took every shot. I bet each of them scored a 10 on several holes. 6 and 7 on the par 3's. This is the price you pay for playing municipal courses with nobody keeping things going. I think it added to my frustration. I also think my dog ate my homework and I don't have a dog. Enough with the excuses.
My setup may have been to exaggerated. club way to forward and the ball to forward. Think I was falling back and head movement. Also my grip. I seem to be turning my wrist before I set to club head. It's a new thing I stated so I will try to stop it. and for some reason, I have a slight slice on the driver. And as Judge Smails said, I never slice. Swinging for the fences maybe since I am getting a little cocky? don't know
The wind was blowing 30 so I also tried to play that too and I did have some good shots> so I am going to the range today and will start over with the basics.

@Tom Holt - Sounds like a very difficult compilation of playing conditions, starting with the 30 mph wind and exacerbated by the snail's pace of play. Cut yourself some slack!
On the range I suggest you try tweaking some setup items like those you mentioned without getting into any significant swing interventions.
I understand. To me golf is the most difficult game of all of the sports.
I hit some good shots but it was the long 10 minute waits to tee off and the chunking. I hate taking that divot before the ball. There are big ones too. the kind you need an excavating license for.
Tom Holt - I have the same issue - Range work doesn’t transfer to the Course. Why? Pressure on Course and none on Range?
