In SnT the lead knee bends towards the lead foot. However, I have caught my lead shoulder bending down and to the left along with my lead knee. This puts weight on my lead toes and can cause a shank, especially on lies where the ball is below my feet. The reason is my lead shoulder will move left, then the practical way for the body to get the club around is to throw the hosel on an outside path.
Just passing my mistakes along to you folks who may, or may not have caught this incorrect movement.
@GolfLivesMatter - the Shanks is one problem I don’t have. Hitting the Hosel or inside the club face near the Hosel would bring a sting up the shaft? And, embarrassment.
