I have watched Tom's videos on YouTube for about two months before finally joining the golf school and beginning to overhaul my swing. After spending quite some time trying to get the 3 body motions down I decided to get a V1 lesson with Tom since I was struggling immensely to make any kind of contact at all and showed no progress even with short swings. I sent my videos last Friday and got them on Tuesday but was playing a round that day and did not want to have a lot of swing thoughts, so I waited to view the lesson. I ended up shooting a 115 that day and went straight for the lesson and drills. As Tom mentioned in the lesson my takeaway is so far on the inside and comes back under the plane so I see a lot of topped shots and hooks. It never occurred to me that the swing could go so wrong just in the takeaway and make it feel like I have never touched a club before. I began working on the drills for the next few days and played a round today shooting 87, my lowest score ever on 18 holes. I don't hit very far so my course management came into play by avoiding hero shots and even playing par 4s as par 5s sometimes just to make sure I was taking out the big number on the hole. My contact was great today and gave me a lot of confidence over the ball on each shot, something I haven't felt in a long time. I've still got a lot more work on my swing to get the consistent contact I am looking for, but it feels great to enjoy playing and hitting well for the first time in a while which was made possible by taking the lesson and working on the drills.

That's some dramatic improvement, @Chris Allen, and congrats on your personal best!! (The first of many more to come...😎)
It is difficult to overstate the value of the V1 Analysis service for both swing repair and maintenance purposes. If feasible, I recommend doing one at least quarterly during the season to make sure that everything is on the proper track, and as needed if an issue arises that can't be self-corrected either through online school diagnostics and drills or here in the Forum with the community's assistance.
Fantastic job incorporating the drills into your swing and putting them into play so quickly. Thanks for sharing!!
