Sorry I haven't written. its been a tough few weeks. The young man who I came to work for here in Hawaii suffered a stroke while having COVID. He is the reason I got a new set of clubs and started playing golf again. Half of our employee roster has also been consumed with COVID and it has been way too busy trying to keep the business above water let alone play any golf. It is still busy and we are slowly getting some guys back and the boss is getting better too. I usually like to take an interest in any forum I am part of and this one in particular because of the help and enjoyment it has given me. I will be going out today to the Bayview golf course in Kaneohe today to play a round of golf at this par 3 course with an exceptional view. I will do a 30 minute warm up at the driving range and go out to smack em and wack em. I didn't want anyone to think I abandoned the group. If anything I feel it is important to help this forum grow. I see a lot of others doing what Tom is doing but none of them come close to how Tom teaches and how he connects with his audience. Yes, audience. I think we all have to admit the guy is entertaining as well as a very good teacher. As we all move forward with this guy, make sure to like and share and subscribe to his videos. If we ignore his videos, so will youtube and these are the things that help any youtube creator grow and there are some guys out there only trying to sell products. Although that is all part of it since YouTube is not only a seach engine it is the greatest marketing tool in the world. The only thing Tom ever tells you to get are the placement sticks and he doesn't even sell them on his website. In fact, he tells you to get them at Home Depot.
I am sure he wants to turn a buck or two. I am willing to pay for this website and his youtube channel to help promote someone who is really trying to help. there are others but no one compares to the entertainment value and coaching Tom gives us. It is as easy as liking, sharing, and subscribing to his YouTube videos. Don't forget to leave a nice positive comment or even ask a question within those videos. He answers back and that alone is worth the price of admission. The proof is in the pudding. I am hitting the ball better than ever and it's all because of Tom Saguto. I'm 65 and have been playing since I was a teen. It will still be a tough few weeks for me but I am around lurking here and there and can't wait to get back into the grove.
Sorry to learn of your recent off-the-course challenges, @Tom Holt. Very glad to know that your boss is on the mend. It's good to have you back and I hope you had a most enjoyable round
Thanks so much for your kind words and support! Keep up that great improvement and always have fun out there, never forgetting the beauty of God's creation in your slice of paradise, even when the occasional shot doesn't go the way you intended...😎
