Rend lake is the biggest one here. 27 holes. I’ve played Indian hill, crab orchard, stardust, pine lakes. Haven’t done the one in Marion ever. And of course my home course Franklin country country club.
@Brandon Wall it Won’t be with your new sticks. We will definitely connect. Which courses are in your area? I have a couple buddies and we go all over to play. In the immediate area we play Stonewolf, Far Oaks, Gateway, Spencer T, Tamarack, Annbriar, and the private club St. Clair Country Club.
@Brandon Wall Nice. As long as you have the 10 yard gap between clubs the number on the stick doesn’t matter.
The issue with 7i 176 is what happens for distance control with scoring irons?
8 - 166
9 - 156
P - 146
G - 136
S - 126
L - 116
That means working a ton of half shots into greens.
On the other hand, the more loft you can have hitting into greens, in theory means less side spin and more GIR and easier to hit greens from further away. :)
Nice!! Holy loft jacking batman! I just looked up the loft of the 7 iron for the sim2's, depending on your individual model, it's any where from 26.5-28.5 degrees. I'm holding in my hand my old irons, tommy armour 845's, it has printed on the face of this 7 iron, 36 degrees. The 5 iron says 28 degrees.
Which one lol.

Russ, if we ever hit the links someday. You will quickly see those shots are few and far between lol.
Makes me wonder if the r10 was reading off. Nahh it’s the new clubs with strong lofts. But the swing felt great. To a 5h 205 yards carry
So now your 7 iron distance is no longer an issue, @Brandon Wall??....🤣 🤣🤣
That way they can sell their wedges...Tommy Armour PW is 48.
The ones I bought are 28.5 Golf clubs are coming with stronger lofts now a days.
