They should have given me a free bowl of soup today. Horrible day on the grass. I even got there early to get the good grass. Mind you the good grass is like hitting out of the rough. It's not manicured at all and is scraggly. So I figure it must be the grass, right!. RIGHT! I hit a few good shots but out of a bucket of 90, I was way below the 50%. A lot of behind the ball stuff and several tops. Weight forward seems to be an issue. and that darn shoulder down. Even the shots I did hit well did not have the distance it should. Felt good, went straight but ho hum on the distance. My 7 was no better than 50 yds. today. And then like the dope I am I tried to change my grip. Now when I place my right hand on the club I do not cover the thumb all the way. So I tried to change that part and here is what I thought. When I came back with the club I felt that the way I was holding the club forced me to hinge. As soon as I felt that hinge I came down with the swing. A few times I hit the ball well and then a few times it was horrible. gave it up quickly. I also hit the driver today. on many I had great crispy contact but I have no idea where the ball went. Does that say something? Here is what I am going to do. I have a full video studio set up. Nothing fancy but I shoot in 4K and when I film others I use a Zhiyun Crane gimble. I am painfully going to try and get you guys some video and maybe do the V1 thing. I have to have others tell me where I am because my self analysis won't even work for the dog. |The self-challenge is on And suck-o was his name-o (sung to the tune of (BINGO)

Spot-on advice from @burkholder.ronald and @Dante Bellino! They convey my very thoughts on how best to work the program, and thus they are reaping the rewards.
Video is a great idea, @Tom Holt. Use that tool often, and yes - a V1 when you're ready would be a smart play at this juncture.
