Lets !see. I hurt my left knee. For a righty that not good. I have lost power, and I don't know why. 10-15 yards
I have very little time to prctice. I need a Saguto hat!
If I reach farther back I get crispy and distance, but I feel I am coming way back. Working on everything.
I do however feel like I am more disaplined and it takes me longer to hit 100 balls and my divots are straight and the same. I need to work on keeping the lead arm straight. That is my biggest issue. When I reach way back and smack the boogers out of the ball I think I am just giving myself more time to get to the ball.
Other than that I am excited to be going. Even got a HC now.

@Tom Holt Just got an email from MBWA as they keep me updated as we count down.
Say Barefoot Norman & Caledonia are sold out but says Thisle is still open if you want to try and play together that Sunday @ 830am.
If you go to your sign in for MBWA. Go to registrations. You should be able to find Sundays skin's warm up games. I spoke to them when was going to play with @burkholder.ronald but didn't want to play at 2 in the afternoon.
They told me if we both register for the same event they have a form we can fill out to request to be in same foursome for skins. I signed up for Thistle Sage 830 shotgun start.

What part of the country you coming from again?
Looking forward to the MBWA and meeting you and @Steven .
Great timing there Tom. Was just thinking about you, haven't seen many post from you in a while and was wondering if I just missed them. Yes I too am getting pumped for the vacation slash tourney!
Don't know if you followed some of my post, been struggling a bit also. But a 2nd in 18 hole league, struggling? Yes, but guess I am being a bit critical as my playing buddies say I been playing well. But it's so easy in this game to leave a shot here and there.
I too struggle with keeping the left arm straight. On the other comment about distance, don't know what area of the country you are from. I am oring. from NYC been in CO for 29 years. So will lose at least 1 to 2 clubs going down to sea level and to the humidity.
At our age (since we are the same age) I been playing golf a long time and have come to terms with fading distance. Nothing wrong with that. But key lately has been to know your game and my games strongest point is 100 yards in, putting, sand play and chipping. The KEY is to keep your ball playable (I know easier said then done). I checked my Arccos stats and the most greens in regulation over the past 2 years has been 6 in 1 round, and most fairways hit was 12 out of 13 par 4's or better. the average golfer hits only 3 greens in regulation (that should be an eye opener). So lately I do more of the mental game, stay with my routine and just go for "meat" of the green on 2nd shoots, unless having an outstanding ball striking day or yardage is in my wheelhouse. Let my short game rule the day. That was the winning formula for both my match play victories before I withdrew.
Don't forgo the practice of pitiching, chipping and putting. This where most of the the shoots are taking place. Play smart golf and course management! Play to your strenghts, as Herb Brooks keep telling the USA hockey team back in 1980 in the mist of playing the Soviets, "Play Your Game". He repeated that all game long, something we should remember! You can play your best golf only with YOUR game.
Looking forward to meeting you at MBWA. Getting in Saturday the 26th. Playing a warmup skins Sunday @ 8am at Thisle Sage.
