I just wanted to give a testimonial on my life changing experience of having a pacemaker implanted on May 11 of this year. Being an avid golfer for 41 years at age 68 and a subscriber to Tom’s school , not being able to play golf for the last 11 weeks has been very challenging. Frankly I didn’t know if I would play again .
Today I played for the first time since May 9th. I shot a smooth 37 for 9 holes . There is no question in my mind that Tom’s teachings and system contributed greatly to enable me to come back so soon and shoot that kind of score.
Folks the method works. The school is invaluable. The systems and the swing is repeatable and body friendly. Certainly no upper body workouts for 6 weeks due to a pacemaker implanted takes a lot out of a 68 year old. I’ve also had my left(front knee ) replaced. The swing that Tom teaches does not require the kind of flexibility that the young tour players have, but brother it WORKS!
I’m planning on playing my first 18 hole round since the pacemaker implantation on Monday. I can’t wait to continue to get better using Tom’s school as my guidance.
All I can say is thanks Tom.
Follow up with first full round. 83. … not great but acceptable for first full round since May. I’ll have to admit I got a little tired and shot 44 on the back after a front 39. Gray to be back!
Nicely done @billpapania Get better in health and get better in golf. Two life goals. Keep up the good work. I've had a foot injury and haven't played in over a week and I'm losing my mind. Couldn't imagine being out that long.
@billpapania OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!
Yes I am slightly younger @ 65 in OCT. But yes wish found this sooner, love the system, been involved since Feb 22.
Keep the updates coming and blessings and keep swinging!
@ billpapania - what an inspirational testimony. You are an antidote to my playing the victim, blaming everything except myself, and grumbling. I will remember you when on the course. No excuses, but play the game, improve; and on all those bad days, suck it up. Thanks, Bill.
That is awesome @billpapania. Thanks so much for sharing your inspirational story. We're very glad to know that you are on the mend and getting back to your passion. With a built-in metronome and a bionic knee you know we'll be expecting great things from you now....😎
I sincerely appreciate your kind words regarding S&T and my teaching of it, as well as your testimonial to the low-maintenance and body-friendly features of this great swing system!!
Welcome back, and have fun out there rekindling your love affair with this fabulous game!!
@billpapania That is wonderful news! Tom is awesome and so are you for not giving up on your love for the game. Let us know how the first 18 hole round goes on Monday! Keep it crispy!
Wow. That's great. Way to go. Wish I could hit a 37 on a 9 hole and I am 10 years younger.
