I’m very analytical and like to absorb as much information as I can. I’ve already purchased and read “The Stack and Tilt“ book. Is “The Golf Machine” applicable to S&T, and worth a read? Also, I’m looking for recommendations on books concerning the mental aspects of the game.

I loved the books by "Harvey Pinnock" Just simple good advice. It made me want to go and play an uncomplicated game of golf.
I could not agree more with Tom’s thoughtful reply. It took me forever to figure out the four accumulators in TGM. It took me 15 minutes to understand Tom’s explanation of the four power sources. Tom expanded my understanding of S and T book and videos exponentially with his straight forward approach.
@Buford T Ogletree - Stack & Tilt is rooted in The Golfing Machine and represents an effort to bring the scientific and mathematical detail of TGM to a more understandable level. SagutoGolf endeavors to take the complexities of S&T and whittle them down to a street level deliverable that even I can understand. So if S&T were to somehow consider itself "TGM for Dummies" (which it most certainly is not), then I suppose SG would be "S&T for Beavis & Butthead"...
So yes - if you'd like to delve into all the technical jargon, work your abacus and protractor, calculate sines, cosines, and tangents, and apply all that to the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow disguised as a dimpled white orb, then you'll enjoy TGM - the Einstein and Newton behind the swing that I teach. You will find it fully applicable and consistent.
🤣🤣🤣,
Tom
Hi Buford, Tom recommended "Fearless Golf: Conquering the Mental Game" by Dr. Gio Valiante to me a little while ago. I've read about 1/2 so far. Definitely an interesting read so far.
