I feel like I have the left hand grip, but when you say right palm over left thumb how much “over“ are we talking about? I feel like if I’m not completely covering the right thumb, my club face doesn’t feel under control. I feel like for me to maintain total control over the club face my right palm is dramatically covering the left thumb. Maybe that’s how it’s suppose to be? Can you shed some light on this Tom? I don’t think people really understand how important a proper right hand placement is. It definitely makes or breaks my swing.

Thanks, Tom! So my next question is if you keep your weight forward you shoulders are pretty much forced to stay down right. I did some basic drills in my basement, and found that it’s pretty tough to near impossible to level out your shoulders when your weight is forward throughout.
@linkinparkjas - Please have a look at this video from the Power + Distance section as I speak specifically to the pressure point of the trail hand palm pushing down on top of the lead hand thumb.
