Hey sagunto peeps!! Hope everyone is playing Some amazing golf right now! Just wanted to shout out Tom and all he has done just last Friday shot an 85 for the first time ever went 3 over on the back 9 which I’ve never done in my life it was unbelievable playing tomorrow hoping to do as good or better! If any of you are skeptics dont be because this absolutely works if ya put in the work ya can do it. Tom, I do have a question about distance my distances are kidna down but the ball is flying straight just frustrating sometimes like my 5 iron Goes like 170 when it went like 190 but that was swinging out of my shoes lol just wondering how I can get up to that distance again swinging controlled. Like idk if it’s a strength thing or what im kinda a skinny dude just want to get it out there ya know. But anyways love what the school is doing for people stack and tilt is saving golfers lives lol! Thabks Tom!

I wouldn't worry about the distance. Figure out what each club goes and play the club according. 170 5 iron isn't bad. 150 7 iron ? I can only see it being a problem if your playing from the tips. IMO, 170 5 iron = White tee's. I play white tee's when I can convince my playing partners that they belong there. My son plays blues with 300+ yrd drives. I play White's with 240-260.
Congrats on your new personal best, @Glenn Oneal!! Well done!!
With regard to getting more distance, the fist thing I'll say is that as you get comfortable with the swing motion in its entirety and are no longer micromanaging it, this trust and confidence in and of itself is going to unlock much of the speed potential that has been held captive as you've diligently worked to build your swing step by step.
Beyond that - and assuming that you have achieved a sufficient level of mastery of the basic swing as provided in Lesson 2.8, you can navigate over to the Power + Distance course and gradually build in the various power accumulators. As you work through this course you should begin to notice an increase in swing speed and distance, but the key is that is must continue to have that "effortless" feel to it.
So stay in your shoes 🤣, put the power accumulators to work, enjoy the added yards, and always have that basic "safety" swing in your back pocket if things temporarily go awry!
Keep up the great work and have fun out there!!
Tom
