It’s hard to imagine how the news media was able to avoid this sort of power outing. Saguto golfers congregated and some say “dominated” the St. Clair Country Club in Belleville, Illinois.
The round of golf contained some fabulous shots. Some less so. However, the entire day was a blast.
Key takeaways. Brandon gets his weight stuck on the back foot and has promised to fix. He won the award for hitting out of some of the toughest positions today. Gerry Can flat out crush it…however, he has a better chance of chipping in instead of making a putt. I, the host for the day, learned that hitting the middle of almost every green does not help if you can’t make any putts.
It was a blast guys. Look forward to the next outing.
Sorry late to the party. That course was beautiful, but tough. Would love another shot at it. It wore me down bad. Once again thanks Russell for having us, and nice meeting you Gerry. We will do this again soon.
Awesome stuff, guys!! So glad y'all were able to make it happen!!
@Russell Hogue, PhD Very nice round! looks like fun! Thanks for sharing!
can we do one in Texas
Thanks to @Russell Hogue, PhD for hosting. One of the nicest places I've played. Next time out I'll know where I'm going. One consolation... I didn't lose a ball :) My goal was to break 90 but had a slight mental breakdown starting the back. Just need to be able to score from 30 yards out. Too many putts.
Oh! That looks like you had a blast. I wish I could find some S &Ters in my area of MA.
When I tell fellow golfers the "new" method I am using, I get very strange looks.
However, they do wonder how I have made so much improvement this year!
