@Paul Saulnier It takes time Paul, stick with it! If you practice on the range, spend a lot of time with an 8 or 9 iron, to get the weight forward grooved into your swing. 3/4 and 1/2 backswing shots as well.
@Paul Saulnier - Nice playing indeed!! And yes - it's definitely a different setup "feel", but you'll eventually get used to it. Just remember to keep your upper torso in place as you set that weight forward.
When you initially get into your setup your shoulders should be stacked over your hips and your weight should be balanced 50/50. Bump your hips an inch or so towards the target while keeping everything else in place. This presets a little more weight on the front side without disrupting your swing center. If you find your head has moved forward during this process, then you've allowed your upper torso - and your swing center - to drift targetward with the hips. It's quite simple: Don't do that....😎
@Tom Saguto right and ball is usually in same position of your lead eye more or less. I think just getting use to weight forward sometimes you just do it wrong sometimes haha
