I really have been enjoying this new swing Saguto method. When done right, I really strike the ball well! I make clean contact and the ball jumps off the club.
However, I have found that if I get lazy or tired during a round (which usually leads to not getting my should down enough) I am in for Shank City!
With the traditional method, I would usually just hit the ball fat or chunk it without much course damage.
But with the Saguto method, the shanks can really screw up a round.
My plan is to not be lazy and stick to the Saguto Method, that I love so much, but I do fear the shank.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Keep your relationship with the ball intact! Wine it. Dine it. Draw it a nice hot bath. Whatever it takes! Do not let it get flat....
There's also this possible cause and fix.
