@Tom Saguto Can you give us your take on the sole bounce of wedges. For example, I have a 52° with 10° bounce and a 56° with 12° bounce. My thinking was that it wouldn’t dig too much in the bunker. What I didn’t count on was the consistency of the bunker sand around here. It’s kind of packed (Found out the hard way yesterday). What’s your opinion on bounce?

@Buford T Ogletree - Once you learn how to use it, bounce increases your options - not just from bunkers (including those with firm sand) but also on chips, pitches, and shots from greenside rough. Like anything in this sport it's just a matter of putting in good practice time to familiarize yourself. Unless it's hardpan sand that you can drive a cart through without leaving a mark, you can still use bounce very effectively to extricate yourself from bunkers with a "damp concrete" consistency!
