Long-time frustrated golfer here. I've never broken 90 before, usually shoot between 95-110. Signed up for the 1 yr membership and watched all of Chapter 1 of the Golf Swing Simplified yesterday. I was actually happy to see I was doing some things basically right. Went out to the range today with the goal of focusing on my stance, foot position, and weight using the T-sticks. Leaning forward was really weird feeling as I've always leaned back like a baseball swing load-up. My right knee can't take that anymore, it was a big reason I haven't really golfed in the last 5 years. I was blown away by the immediate improvements, once I was able to override my brain's desire to lean back, my hits started popping off my clubface. Even my miss-hits were at least going straight, and that alone will shave 5-10 strokes off of my score. I usually lose 6-10 balls per round due to a horrible hooking issue. Just these little tweaks made me excited to play again. Every time I had a brainfart and leaned back on my swing the nasty hook came back. Looking forward to watching more lessons. Thanks for making an easy-to-follow and fun video series Tom! I don't want to be Tiger Woods, I'd just like to get invited to play more often with my buddies that shoot in the mid 70's - 80's . Does anyone else get a Danny Noonan from Caddyshack vibe from watching Tom's videos or is it just me?
