Today I was doing some (lead) left hand only swings. What I noticed was, just swinging the club back and through with a straight left arm, I was hitting the mat behind and very fat. When I extended my left leg straight just before impact, i hit the ground perfect.
This is something that I try to do but, With all the other positions and techniques Im working on, I sometimes forget to do this.
I just wanted to share this experience just in case it helps anyone.
The centripetal force with the coordinated straight leg creates amazing power and contact.
