Could i apply the same principles as the "Tailbone to target"(hips reacting more to the shoulders and more inward hand path) with pitching and chipping, or would it cause some issues.
The reason why i'm asking is that i would like all my swings feel the same, that the only change would be the length of the swing.

My best answer is to experiment with it and see how it works for you with the chips and pitches. It should only take a practice session or two for you to determine if you're able to consistently achieve clean contact and effectively control distance/trajectory.
