The best tip by far is to film yourself. I tried doing it by just feel and trying to hit crispy shots thinking I was doing everything right but was struggling to get more than 3 out of 10 good ones away. I then bought a cheap tripod off eBay and took my iPad to the range and filmed myself. I could then see everything I was doing wrong and correct it one by one. For example in the setup I thought I had my hands far enough forward and didn’t have the wedge in my right wrist. It wasn’t until I filmed myself that I knew my hands were nowhere near enough forward. When you are over the ball it probably looks like there is more forward shaft lean than there actually is. Now I know it only feels that way. Tom makes this point with feel vs real. After only 2 sessions filming myself and matching myself to Tom’s video’s I hit 8 to 9 out of 10 crispy push draws With drill 2.8 and I am working now on getting more power.
